| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Lily "Lil" Visconti of Ringwood, who |
| 4 | | passed away on May 7, 2017; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti was born in McKeesport, |
| 6 | | Pennsylvania to William and Edith (Hoffman) Boyd on September |
| 7 | | 5, 1949; she graduated from McHenry High School in 1967 and |
| 8 | | married Frank Visconti in McHenry on June 1, 1968; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti worked as a secretary at Modine and |
| 10 | | Oak Manufacturing; she was a professional cake decorator and |
| 11 | | operated L & L Pizza in Ringwood for several years; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti was a former member of Ringwood |
| 13 | | United Methodist Church, where she served on the church |
| 14 | | council; she was a member of the Wonder Lake Auxiliary Fire |
| 15 | | Department, volunteer at Ringwood and Johnsburg schools, |
| 16 | | volunteer with the Red Cross, and Boy Scout merit badge |
| 17 | | counselor; she enjoyed camping, cooking, shopping, jewelry, |
| 18 | | and most importantly, helping others; and
|
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Lily Visconti was preceded by her father, William |
| 20 | | Boyd, and her sisters, Carolyn Boyd, Yvonne Bounds, and Edith |
| 21 | | Hoffman; and
