SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Savanna "Vannie" Wilson of Springfield, 
4who passed away on May 25, 2017; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Savanna Wilson was born in Springfield to Jessica 
6Underwood and Jaime Wilson on October 11, 2003;
she was a 
7student at Jefferson Middle School where she  was a cheerleader 
8and on the basketball team; and

  
 
9    WHEREAS, Savanna Wilson was a social butterfly and full of 
10life; she enjoyed reading, listening to music, dancing, and 
11spending time with family and friends; and

  
 
12    WHEREAS, Savanna Wilson was preceded in death by her 
13paternal grandfather, Henry Lee Wilson; her great-aunt, Deanna 
14Rockwood; and her great-uncle, Bruce Rockwood; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Savanna Wilson is survived by her parents; her 
16siblings, Jaime Wilson II and Kyla Wilson; her grandparents, 
17Kaydo and Ellen Underwood and Geanette Wilson; and numerous 
18aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
