SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Harold E. Valberg of Rock Island, who 
4passed away on May 23, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Harold Valberg was born in Watertown, South Dakota 
6to Peder and Vesta Dally Valberg on May 9, 1933; he served in 
7the United States Army and  married Marlys Krayenbrink in Henry, 
8South Dakota on August 22, 1953; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Harold Valberg worked as a furnace installer for 
10Bullock Heating and Cooling; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Harold Valberg enjoyed playing on the computer, 
12watching baseball, especially the Chicago Cubs, and spending 
13time and conversing with his good friend, Raymond Robbins; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Harold Valberg was preceded in death by his wife, 
15Marlys, and his sister, Doris Sollin; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Harold Valberg is survived by his children, Tamie 
17(Donnie) Noack, Laurie (Phil) Fowler, Kevin (Susie) Valberg, 
18and Russell Valberg; his grandchildren, Kelly (Kelly) Noack, 
19Jennifer (Chad) Veryzer, Nick Valberg, Nicki Odekirk, Ben 
20Valberg, Tanner (Olivia) Valberg, Jacob Fowler, Lucas Fowler,

1and Casey Fowler; 15 great-grandchildren; his brother, Hubert 
2Valberg; his sister, Deloris Sprinter; and his dog, Mia; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
6Harold E. Valberg, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
7family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
8further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to  the family of  Harold Valberg as an expression of 
11our deepest sympathy.
