SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dorothy Trizna of Joliet, who passed away 
4on June 17, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna was born in Joliet to George T. and 
6Barbara (Bauer) Klemencic in 1926; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna worked at Joliet West High School 
8for many years and retired from U.S. Steel; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna was a member of St. Paul the 
10Apostle Catholic Church; she enjoyed attending her son's and 
11grandchildren's sporting events; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna was preceded in death by her 
13husband, Raymond Trizna, and her parents; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Dorothy Trizna is survived by her children, 
15Raymond (Luanne) Trizna, Judy (Darrel) Smith, and James 
16(Maureen) Trizna; her grandchildren, Patrick (Mandy) 
17Baumgartner, Julia Garvey, Michael Trizna, Adriana Trizna, and 
18Matthew Trizna; her great-grandchildren, Caedon and Logan 
19Baumgartner; her  sister, Eileen Bedesky; and numerous nieces 
20and nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Dorothy Trizna, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Dorothy Trizna as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
