SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Howard W. Silverblatt of McHenry, who 
4passed away on June 10, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt was born to Charles "Chuck" and 
6Ellen Silverblatt on April 22, 1953 and grew up  in Palatine; he 
7married Peggy McKinney in 1988 and they settled in McHenry; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt worked at Sports Center of 
9Richmond; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt was involved in youth Boy 
11Scouts and Indian Princesses; he attended all his children's 
12sporting events and concerts and volunteered at church and 
13school; and
  
 
  
14    WHEREAS, Howard Silverblatt is survived by his wife of 29 
15years, Peggy; his children, Scott and Kimberly (Andy) 
16Strombach; his siblings, Tom (Linda) Silverblatt, Sue (Bob) 
17McCorkle, and Tara; and his parents; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Howard W. Silverblatt, and extend our sincere condolences to
