SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Urban Peter Wagner of McHenry, who passed 
4away on June 1, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Urban Wagner was born in Round Lake to John and 
6Gertrude (Deidrich) Wagner on November 18, 1924; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Urban Wagner was a member of the Catholic Order of 
8Foresters; he administered Holy Communion at the Hospital, 
9loved playing golf and spending winters in Florida with his 
10wife, Patricia, and truly enjoyed being with his family and 
11friends; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Urban Wagner was preceded in death by his parents; 
13his first wife, Lorraine; his wife, Patricia; his brothers, 
14Albert, Joseph, Ralph, and Roy; and his sisters, Caroline, 
15Dorothy, and Marie; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Urban Wagner is survived by his children, Carol 
17(John) Meyer, Terry (Jackie) Wagner, Kevin (Kathy) Wagner, 
18Diane (Brad) Kleven, Robert (Carol) Schaefer, Gary (Alisa) 
19Schaefer, and Liz (Mike) Campana; 24 grandchildren, 14 
20great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Theresa Seibert and 
21Louise Godwin; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Urban Peter Wagner, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Urban Wagner as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
