| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Christopher Byrant "Chris" Clinton, who |
| 4 | | passed away on June 7, 2017; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton was born in Joliet to Dave and |
| 6 | | Nan (Baltz) Clinton on March 5, 1968; he attended the Joliet |
| 7 | | Montessori School and graduated from St. Raymond Elementary |
| 8 | | School and Joliet Catholic High School; he earned a bachelor's |
| 9 | | degree from Drake University; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton moved to Delray Beach, |
| 11 | | Florida and worked for many years in the banking industry; he |
| 12 | | then began his own business painting houses; and |
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton was involved with and took |
| 14 | | pride in the work that he did with Kairos, an ecumenical prison |
| 15 | | ministry; he served as the chairman for the OCI (Okeechobee |
| 16 | | Correctional Institute) Advisory Council; and
|
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Christopher Clinton was just as happy to be by the |
| 18 | | ocean in Florida as he was to be back in Joliet, close to his |
| 19 | | family and friends; he had a contagious personality, a |
| 20 | | wonderful sense of humor, and many talents, including his |
| 21 | | ability to sing every Neil Diamond song; and
