SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Holly Friday of McHenry, who passed away 
4on July 3, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Holly Friday was born in Deerfield to Marjorie and 
6Frank Stieber on August 11, 1960; she attended Holy Cross Grade 
7School and Deerfield High School; she graduated from the 
8University of Arizona; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Holly Friday taught first at St. Mary's School in 
10Buffalo Grove and then at Harvard Junior High School; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Holly Friday loved her family, friends, 
12co-workers, and her dogs, Madra and Valley; she was a member of 
13the Clayworkers' Guild of Illinois and enjoyed quilting  and 
14knitting; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Holly Friday was preceded in death by her parents 
16and  her sister, Lyn (Barry) Stockton; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Holly Friday is survived by her husband, Daniel 
18Friday; her  children, Maggie and Kevin; her sisters, Diane 
19(Keith) Berkholtz, Debbie (Michael) Petroff, and Karen (Kyle) 
20Goodwin; her  brother, Mark (Rhonda) Stieber; and  10 nieces and

1nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Holly Friday, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, 
5friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Holly Friday as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
