SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Norman C. Kase, who passed away on August 
420, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Norman Kase was born on September 12, 1929; he 
6served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Norman Kase retired from Sears, Roebuck and 
9Company; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Norman Kase enjoyed fishing and golf, and 
11continued his passion for golf during his retirement by making 
12and repairing golf clubs; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Norman Kase was married for 60 years to his 
14beloved wife, Lillian (Halland); they have a daughter, Sharon 
15Johnsen and a son, Donald (Danielle); and grandchildren, Chuck, 
16Christina, Dennis, Kristina, and Jose; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Norman Kase, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
20friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
