SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Marietta Tornabene Hirsch of Lombard, who 
4passed away on August 29, 2017; and
  
 

  
5    WHEREAS, Marietta Hirsch was a Girl Scout leader and past 
6president of the Sacred Heart Home and School Association; she 
7loved to crochet; her grandchildren meant the world to her; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Marietta Hirsch was preceded in death by her 
9brother, Joseph Tornabene; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Marietta Hirsch is survived by her beloved 
11husband, Lee; her loving children, Juliemarie (Dan) Stephens 
12and Michael (Katherine) Hirsch; her dear grandchildren, 
13Maxwell, Alexander, Alyssa, and Walter; her fond siblings, 
14Elizabeth (Rick) David, Margaret (Bill) Hanlon, Felica (Joe) 
15Peters, and Phillip (Debbie) Tornabene; and many nieces, 
16nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Marietta Tornabene Hirsch, and extend our sincere condolences 
20to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be
