SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert Keith Johnson of Fox Lake, who 
4passed away on August 24, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was born in Pittsburgh, 
6Pennsylvania to Melvin and Madeline (Lewis) Johnson on May 17, 
71944; he graduated from Lake Forest High School and attended 
8Monmouth College; he married Shaila Stanton in Monmouth on June 
917, 1966; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson had a 40-year career as a data 
11processor in the information technology industry; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson volunteered with Little League 
13Baseball for 30 years, Cub Scouts, and Webelos; he enjoyed 
14golfing, fishing, computers, and restoring cars; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson was preceded in death by his 
16parents; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Robert Johnson is survived by his wife, Shaila; 
18his  sons, Robert (Linda), Bryon (Amy), and Kirk (Elizabeth) 
19Johnson; his grandchildren, Nolan, Kyle, Emily, Shelby, 
20Jaxson, and Jocelyn Johnson; and his sister, Jane (Michael)

2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Robert Keith Johnson, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Robert Johnson as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
