3 | | learn of the death of David Piktel of Winthrop Harbor, who |
4 | | passed away on July 10, 2017; and

5 | | WHEREAS, David Piktel was born in Waukegan to Joseph Piktel |
6 | | and Marie Dahl on January 10, 1949; and
|
7 | | WHEREAS, David Piktel worked for the North Chicago Post |
8 | | Office in the late 1960s; he then worked for 20 years at Polk |
9 | | Brothers in Waukegan; most recently, he was self-employed as a |
10 | | painter; and
|
11 | | WHEREAS, David Piktel was affectionately known as "Little |
12 | | Dave", "Poppy", and "Uncle Dave"; he was a member of |
13 | | Zion-Benton Moose Lodge #667, South Of The Border Muskies Inc., |
14 | | and General Casimir Pulaski Post #25 PLAV; and

15 | | WHEREAS, David Piktel was preceded in death by his parents |
16 | | and his brothers, Bill Burton, Bob Burton, Don Burton, and Jim |
17 | | Piktel; and

18 | | WHEREAS, David Piktel is survived by his longtime partner, |
19 | | Debbie; his children, Joel Piktel, Ryan Piktel, Stephanie |
