SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Delores Ross of Virden, who passed away 
4on September 19, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Delores Ross was born August 26, 1932; she 
6graduated from Virden High School in 1951 and married Theodore 
7C. "Bud" Ross in Virden on November 8, 1952; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Delores Ross worked for the State of Illinois and 
9at the Macoupin County Courthouse; she owned and operated the 
10Virden Coin Wash; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Delores Ross was an avid fan of the Virden 
12Bulldogs; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Delores Ross was preceded in death by her husband, 
14Theodore, and her  sister, Linda Guthrie; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Delores Ross is survived by her daughter, Carroll 
16L. (Jeff) Millburg; her son, Ray J. (Stacy) Ross; three 
17grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her  sisters, Arlene 
18Love-Ballinger and Lola Lemarr; and several nieces and nephews;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Delores Ross, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, 
4friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Delores Ross as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
