SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Kevin Fay, who passed away on September 
49, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was a native of Drumnaveigh, 
6Ballyjamesduff, County Cavan, Ireland; he was educated in the 
7Stravicnabo National School; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was a respected carpenter and  
9homebuilder for 35 years, specializing in the Chicago areas of 
10Edison Park, Norwood Park, and the suburb of Park Ridge; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was affectionately known as "PaPa 
12Kevin"; he was a loyal friend and favorite uncle and was known 
13for his gentle ways and genuine authenticity; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Kevin Fay was preceded in death by his siblings, 
15Mollie, Winnie, Rose, Dympna, Sister Mary Gertrude, Bridie, 
16John, Packie, and Ben; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Kevin Fay is survived by his sister, Maeve Colby; 
18he was the loving husband of 40 years of the late Mary  
19(Molyneaux); the devoted son of the late James and Katie Fay 
20(Smith); the cherished father of Kathy (George), Regis (Cathy),

1Bernie (Mary Ann), Kenny (Arlen), Dympna (Rob), Frank (Taryn), 
2Sharon (John), and Rebecca (Larry); the proud grandfather of 
3Kevin, Kyle (Katie), and Ryan Bigoness, Declan, Kevin, Brendan,  
4Quinn, Brian, Evan, Stephanie, Lisa, John, Joe, and  Molly Fay, 
5Emily O'Hara (William),  Aidan and  Nolan Hart, Riley McInerney, 
6Sean and  Lauren Decker, Trent (Anna), Keith, and Olivia; and 
7great-grandfather to Isabella Bigoness, Evelyn O'Hara, and 
8Delia Bigoness; therefore, be it
  
 
9    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
10ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
11Kevin Fay, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, 
12friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further
  
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14presented to  the family of  Kevin Fay as an expression of our 
15deepest sympathy.
