SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Ronald A. Knodel of Kenosha, Wisconsin, 
4who passed away on September 18, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ronald Knodel was born in Waukegan to Arthur and 
6Harriet Knodel on January 28, 1940; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ronald Knodel was an avid cribbage player and was 
8known to roll a few dice; he enjoyed fishing and spending time 
9outdoors with his family; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Ronald Knodel was preceded in death by his 
11parents; and his former wife, Toni Knodel; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Ronald Knodel is survived by his sons, Rich, Gene 
13(Valerie), Pat (Jonell), Mike (Jeanne), Randy (Patty), Kevin 
14(Sarah), and Jeff; his grandchildren, Shannon (Brad Stone), 
15Kaitlyn, Kylie, Heather, Hydee, Wesley, Megan, Layla, and 
16Hayden; a great-grandson, Declan; his brother, Don; his sister, 
17Linda; and his many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Ronald A. Knodel, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
