SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Carolyn Fahnestock of Alton, who passed 
4away on September 26, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Carolyn Fahnestock was born in Alton to Bob and 
6Jeannie (Beiser) Churchich; she married Thomas B. Fahnestock at 
7St. Patrick's Church in Alton on June 10, 1967; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Carolyn Fahnestock was employed as the Assistant 
9to the Principal at St. Mary's School for 27 years; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Carolyn Fahnestock was an active member of St. 
11Mary's Catholic Church; she loved spending time with her 
12family; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Carolyn Fahnestock was preceded in death by her 
14parents; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Carolyn Fahnestock is survived by her husband, 
16Thomas; her daughter, Ann (David) Voss; her sons, Michael 
17(Andrea) Fahnestock and Tim (Amy) Fahnestock; her 
18grandchildren, Joe, Katie, Noah, Jonah, Abby, Owen, Charlie, 
19and Will; her sister, Deborah (Dave) Williams; and her 
20stepmother, Ruth Churchich; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Carolyn Fahnestock, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Carolyn Fahnestock as an expression 
8of our deepest sympathy.
