SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Judith Rose Gianasi of Taylorville, who 
4passed away on October 15, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi was born in Springfield to Emil 
6John and Rose (Dolenc) Leonard on October 16, 1943; she married 
7Ceasar Gianasi in Springfield on June 26, 1966; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi worked as a homemaker and farmer; 
9and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi served as a Taylorville Township 
11trustee; she was an avid golfer, won the ladies city tournament 
12several times, and had two holes-in-one; she was a member of 
13Taylorville Eagles Auxiliary Aerie 1425 and Christian County 
14Democrat Women; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi was preceded in death by her 
16parents; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Judith Gianasi is survived by her husband, Ceasar; 
18her sons, Louis (Christi Meyer) Gianasi and Michael Gianasi; 
19her brothers, Tom (Martha) Leonard and Dan (Dianne) Leonard; 
20and several nieces, nephews, and cousins; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Judith Rose Gianasi, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Judith Gianasi as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
