SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Arnell V. Gregorski, who passed away on 
4September 23, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Arnell Gregorski was born in Waukegan to Casimir 
6and Valerie Gregorski on August 22, 1952; he graduated with a 
7Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of 
8Illinois; he married Amy Huffman on November 18, 1989; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Arnell Gregorski was the Chief Plan Examiner and 
10Building Inspector for Highland Park until his retirement in 
112017; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Arnell Gregorski had a lifelong passion for  the 
13Boy Scouts of America, from his entry into scouting 58 years 
14ago to earning the rank of Eagle Scout with three Silver Palms; 
15he held numerous leadership positions and earned many awards 
16including the Silver Beaver and the St. George Award; he was 
17also a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, serving as the 
18leader of Lodge 40 for three years and as Vigil Advisor for 30 
19years; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Arnell Gregorski achieved the Fourth degree in the 
21Knights of Columbus and was forever a fisherman in his heart

1and soul; and
  
 
2    WHEREAS, Arnell Gregorski is survived by his wife, Amy; his 
3sons, Andrew and Alan; his  sister, Della; his brothers, Conne 
4and Mitchell (Trish); one niece; and many cousins; therefore, 
5be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
8Arnell V. Gregorski, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
10further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to  the family of  Arnell Gregorski as an expression of 
13our deepest sympathy.
