SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Donna M. Santoro, who passed away  on 
4October 13, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donna Santoro was born to Carl Chiariello and 
6LaVerne Blanco on September 12, 1947; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Donna Santoro was the CEO of Leyden Family 
8Services and the Share Program in Franklin Park, where she was 
9known to be a passionate and committed advocate for the clients 
10she served; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Donna Santoro dedicated over 40 years to the 
12mental health and addiction community, encouraging those she 
13came in contact with her guiding principle that "discovering 
14who you are and being yourself is one of life's greatest 
15achievements"; and
 
16    WHEREAS, Donna Santoro was preceded in death by her beloved 
17parents and was the caring sister of the late Joseph "Terry" 
18Chiariello; and
  
 
19    WHEREAS, Donna Santoro was the loving partner of Phileene 
20"Fe" Evans and loving family member to the Evans family;

1therefore, be it
  
 
  
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Donna M. Santoro, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to the family of Donna Santoro as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
