SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert W. Sharp of Northbrook,  who passed 
4away on November 6, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Robert Sharp served with the Third Infantry 
6Regiment during World War II and with the 308th Military 
7Government Group during the Korean War; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Robert Sharp retired from Chapman and Cutler, 
9where he was a partner; and
  
 

  
10    WHEREAS, Robert Sharp was the beloved husband of Elizabeth 
11Mack Sharp, the late Barbara Price Sharp, and the late Donelda 
12Eagle Sharp; the dearly loved father of Joan (Brian) Reed and 
13Susan Frazier; the adored "dad" of Charles (Kate) Mack, Martha 
14(Bob) Grey, Rebecca Mack (Tim Frothingham), Julian (Amy) Mack, 
15and Sarah Mack (Matt Widman); the loving grandfather of Kate 
16Reed, Michelle and Nathaniel Frazier, Forrest Mack, Eleanor 
17Mack, Rachel and Hannah Grey, Julian, Nathaniel, Henry, and 
18Benjamin Hagood, Katya and Mahalia Mack, and Mariah, Ilia, and 
19Sylvana Widman; the great-grandfather of four; the dearest son 
20of the late Donna and William Sharp; and the best friend to 
21Arthur, the family's beloved Corgi; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Robert W. Sharp and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Robert Sharp as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
