SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Elfrieda H. Kelly, who passed away on 
4November 17, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Elfrieda Kelly was born in Libertyville to Henry 
6and Henrietta Mesenbrink on August 28, 1931; she graduated from 
7Libertyville High School in 1949; she was baptized, confirmed, 
8and married at St. John Lutheran Church in Libertyville; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Elfrieda Kelly worked as a telephone operator at 
10Illinois Bell from 1951-1962; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Elfrieda Kelly was a member of Redeemer Lutheran 
12Church in Waukegan; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Elfrieda Kelly was preceded in death by her 
14parents; and her brother, William John Mesenbrink; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Elfrieda Kelly is survived by her husband of 57 
16years, Frank W. Kelly; and her children, Edward Kelly and Laura 
17Kelly; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

1Elfrieda H. Kelly and extend our sincere condolences to her 
2family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
3further
  
 
4    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
