SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of William E. "Butch" Yarborough of Roxana, 
4who passed away on December 14, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, William Yarborough was born in Winchester to 
6William and Isabel (Cox) Yarborough on August 3, 1942; he 
7married Darlene Lawrence in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 11, 
81989; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, William Yarborough worked as an investigator for 
10the firm of Becker, Schroder and Chapman for over 25 years; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, William Yarborough enjoyed playing golf and 
12watching the St. Louis Cardinals; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, William Yarborough was preceded in death by his 
14parents; his brother, Donald Yarborough; and his sisters, 
15Shirley Blasa and Margie Tuttle; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, William Yarborough is survived by his wife, 
17Darlene; his son, Donald Yarborough; his stepsons, Patrick 
18(Kim) and  Jon Lawrence; his daughter, Shelley Yarborough 
19(Brandon Johnson); his stepdaughter, Jennifer (James) Herring; 
20his three "princesses", Jacey Humphries, Callie Lawrence, and

1Isabel Johnson; his brothers, Mike (Jackie) and David 
2Yarborough; and his sister, Judy Clark; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5William E. "Butch" Yarborough, and extend our sincere 
6condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
7him; and be it further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  William Yarborough as an expression 
10of our deepest sympathy.
