SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of David Lee "Dave" Cather Jr. of Colona, 
4who passed away on December 22, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dave Cather was born in Rock Island to Dave and 
6Rae Jean Pettersen Cather on May 6, 1963; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Dave Cather served 20 years in the United States 
8Air Force with the 53rd Airlift Squadron and retired as a 
9technical sergeant in 2002; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Dave Cather enjoyed hunting, fishing, competing 
11in 3-D archery shoots, R/C aeronautics, and riding his Harley; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Dave Cather was preceded in death by his father, 
14Dave Cather; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Dave Cather is survived by his wife, Michelle; his 
16children, Nicholas Cather, Nathaniel Cather, Rebecca Graham, 
17and David Fink; his mother, Rae Jean Cather; and his brother, 
18Robert (Patricia) Cather; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2David Lee "Dave" Cather Jr., and extend our sincere condolences 
3to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Dave Cather as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
