SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Doris Jewel Wagner of Alden, who passed 
4away on January 6, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner was born in Tower Hill, one of 10 
6children, to Charles and Lula Fringer on May 22, 1927; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner was a foster parent with her husband 
8Ralph in McHenry County for over 40 years; they fostered over 
91,138 children; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner was preceded in death by her husband, 
11Ralph Albert Wagner; several siblings; and her loyal canine 
12companion, Johnny B Good; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Doris Wagner is survived by her children, Sharon 
14Carlson, Gary (Nancy) Wagner, Pam Goodman, Mark Wagner, Diane 
15Lasch, Laurie (Joel) Garmon, Annette (Richard) Roray, Charles 
16Wagner, and Robert (Mary) Wagner; her brother, Glenn; her 
17sister, Jean; her grandchildren, Sharon, Heidi, Butch, Brian, 
18Tracy, Bianca, Tyler, Gary Quinntarsa, Jenelle, Bradley, John, 
19Aireal, Jason, Rachel, Breanna, Ashley, Cory, and Karsten; many 
20great and great-great-grandchildren; and hundreds of foster 
21children; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Doris Jewel Wagner, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Doris Wagner as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
