| 2 | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | ||||||
| 3 | learn of the death of Katharina Bertha Goldhammer of Lincoln, | ||||||
| 4 | who passed away on January 16, 2018; and
| ||||||
| 5 | WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer was born in Emden to | ||||||
| 6 | Frederick and Wilhelmina (Englehorn) Wiggers on November 3, | ||||||
| 7 | 1921; she married John H. Goldhammer in Lincoln on October 21, | ||||||
| 8 | 1961; and
| ||||||
| 9 | WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer worked for over 25 years at | ||||||
| 10 | the Glenn Pontiac-Cadillac Dealership as the office manager and | ||||||
| 11 | bookkeeper; and
| ||||||
| 12 | WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer was a member of the First | ||||||
| 13 | United Methodist Church in Lincoln, including the Ruth Circle; | ||||||
| 14 | she was also a member of ESA Sorority; and
| ||||||
| 15 | WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer was preceded in death by her | ||||||
| 16 | husband, John; her parents; her siblings, Mildred, Eileen, | ||||||
| 17 | Frederick, Marvin, Kendall, Thelma, and Milton; and her nephew, | ||||||
| 18 | Kevin Wiggers; and
| ||||||
| 19 | WHEREAS, Katharina Goldhammer is survived by her cousin, | ||||||
| 20 | Harold (Vi) Wiggers; her sister-in-law, Darlene (Bob) Singley; | ||||||

| 1 | her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth (Tom) Kavelman, Lori (Paul) | ||||||
| 2 | Bottrell, Lois Pruitt, Roger Wainwright, Carrie Wiggers, Karen | ||||||

| 13 | Katharina Bertha Goldhammer, and extend our sincere | ||||||
| 14 | condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved | ||||||
| 15 | her; and be it further

| 16 | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | ||||||
