| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Pastor H. Eugene Jones of Waukegan, who |
| 4 | | passed away on January 20, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Pastor Eugene Jones was born in Waukegan on July |
| 6 | | 2, 1933; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Pastor Eugene Jones served his country in the |
| 8 | | United States Army; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Pastor Eugene Jones is survived by his wife; his |
| 10 | | six sons; his four daughters; his 26 grandchildren; his six |
| 11 | | sisters; and his many other relatives and dear friends; |
| 12 | | therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 15 | | Pastor H. Eugene Jones and send our sincere condolences to his |
| 16 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 17 | | further

| 18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 | | presented to the family of Pastor Eugene Jones as an expression |
| 20 | | of our deepest sympathy.
