SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Loretta L. Dunstan of Troy, who passed
4away on February 2, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Loretta Dunstan was born in East St. Louis to
6Alfred C. and Alma (Donner) Hellwig on August 31, 1921; she
7married Billie Rood Dunstan at St. Jerome Catholic Church in
8Troy on November 28, 1942; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Loretta Dunstan was a longtime member of St.
10Jerome Catholic Church; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Loretta Dunstan enjoyed traveling, playing games,
12especially with her grandchildren, and crocheting gifts for her
13family; she was proud of her family and all they accomplished
14in life; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Loretta Dunstan was preceded in death by her
16parents; her husband, Billie; her son, Jay; her brothers,
17Alfred and Richard Hellwig; and her sisters, Viola Reuss and
18Elinore Thompson; and
 
19    WHEREAS, Loretta Dunstan is survived by her children,
20Lanita (Gary) Lewis, Elaine (Roger) Archibald, Ronald (Mary

1Lou) Dunstan, and Alan (Linda) Dunstan; her daughter-in-law,
2Susie (Augie) Campagna; her grandchildren, Renee (Chuck Ryan)
3Dunstan, Theresa Dunstan, Michael Dunstan, Steven (Jennifer)
4Lewis, Eric Lewis, David Archibald, Brian (Julie) Archibald,
5Mary (Alex) Holt, Jennifer (Brett) Henschen, Shane (Beth)
6Firsching, Luke (Michele) Firsching, and Emily (Nate)
7Motsinger; her great-grandchildren, Riley, Ryder, Bentley,
8Savannah, and Scarlet Lewis, Molly and Jillian Archibald, Miles
9Holt, Jayden and Averi Henschen, and Trentin Firsching; her
10sisters-in-laws, Dixie Hellwig and Dorothy Folkerts; her
11brother-in-law, Bob Dunstan; and her many nieces, nephews,
12great-nieces, great-nephews, and friends; therefore, be it
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
14ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
15Loretta L. Dunstan and extend our sincere condolences to her
16family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
17further
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
19presented to the family of Loretta Dunstan as an expression of
20our deepest sympathy.
