| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Glenn A. Waspi of Crystal Lake, who |
| 4 | | passed away on February 4, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi was born in Spring Grove to John and |
| 6 | | Lydia (Andrews) Waspi on January 8, 1921; he graduated from |
| 7 | | Richmond High School in 1939; he married Regina "Butch" Karls |
| 8 | | in Spring Grove on February 23, 1941; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi worked as a master mechanic for E. M. |
| 10 | | Malhan Construction in Algonquin for 45 years, retiring in |
| 11 | | 1988; he was a member of Operating Engineers Local #150; and
|
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi attended St. Thomas the Apostle in |
| 13 | | Crystal Lake; and
|
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi was preceded in death by his parents; |
| 15 | | his wife, Regina; his son, Jeff Waspi; his sisters, Edith |
| 16 | | McDonald and Marguerite Pierce-Moore; and by his brothers, |
| 17 | | John, Fred, Paul, George, and Edward Waspi; and
|
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Glenn Waspi is survived by his sons, Michael |
| 19 | | (Janell) and Kevin (Sally) Waspi; his daughter-in-law, Sharon |
| 20 | | Waspi; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four |
