SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Diana P. Southard, who passed away on 
4February 13, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Diana Southard was born in Chicago to Peter and 
6Josephine (Roccemele) Verciglio on September 29, 1947; and
  
 
  
7    WHEREAS, Diana Southard was a loving wife, mother, and 
8talented hairdresser; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Diana Southard was preceded in death by her 
10parents and her brother, Dominick; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Diana Southard is survived by her husband, Lonnie; 
12her sons, Lonnie (Sherrie) and Mark (Linda) Southard; her 
13daughter, Dana (Scott) Goddard; her grandchildren, Nichole and 
14Rhett Morse and Victoria Southard; her great-grandson, Jax 
15Jakupovic; her sister, Rosalie (Ray Baran) Bell; and her many 
16cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Diana P. Southard and extend our sincere condolences to her 
20family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
