SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Standard Lee Jr., who passed away on 
4January 5, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. was born in Panola, Alabama to 
6Jannie and Standard Lee Sr. on October 8, 1948; affectionately 
7known as "Bay Bay", he was the sibling to five brothers and six 
8sisters; he received his formal education from the Chicago 
9Public Schools; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. was employed by Westinghouse 
11Electric; and
  
 
  
12    WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. was preceded in death by his 
13siblings, Lonnie and Sadie "Pinkie"; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Standard Lee Jr. is survived by his brothers and 
15sisters, Daniel, Jerry, Geraldine, Bob, Betty, Delores, 
16Elaine, Wilbert, and Gloria; his sons, Reggie and Brandon; his 
17grandsons, Reginald Jr., Terrell, and Deshawn; his 
18great-granddaughter, Brandi; his great-grandson, Ashton; and 
19his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and 
20extended family; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Standard Lee Jr. and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Standard Lee Jr. as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
