SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Sandra R. Rescigno, who passed away on 
4February 9, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Sandra Rescigno was born in Waukegan to Ingvald 
6and Ella (Erickson) Ruud on May 14, 1943; she grew up in North 
7Chicago and graduated from North Chicago High School in 1961; 
8and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Sandra Rescigno worked as a secretary for the Lake 
10County Health Department; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Sandra Rescigno enjoyed reading, cooking, and 
12music; her favorite music was the Blues, and she shared it with 
13her baby, Dana; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Sandra Rescigno was preceded in death by her 
15parents and her great-granddaughter, Kiari Denia Morado; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Sandra Rescigno is survived by her children, Henry 
17Rescigno, Regina (James) Olivares, and Dana Rescigno; her 
18grandchildren, Adrianna (Dennis) Morado and Tyler Olivares; 
19and her brothers, Alan (Darlene) Ruud and Gary (Nancy) Ruud;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Sandra R. Rescigno and extend our sincere condolences to her 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Sandra Rescigno as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
