SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Mary Frances Patterson of Carrollton, who 
4passed away on December 22, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Patterson was born in White Hall to Frank and 
6Elre McCollister on January 11, 1936; she married James L. 
7Patterson in White Hall on April 27, 1957; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Mary Patterson was a homemaker and mother; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Mary Patterson enjoyed reading, playing dominos, 
10and spending time with her lunch bunch ladies; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Mary Patterson was preceded in death by her 
12parents; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Mary Patterson is survived by her husband, James; 
14her children, Melinda Miner, Melissa (Tom) Martin, Jamie 
15Patterson, Andy Patterson, and Molly (Mike) Hensley; her 
16sister, Judi Humphrey; her 11 grandchildren; her 14 
17great-grandchildren; her brother and sister-in-law; and her 
18many nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Mary Frances Patterson and extend our sincere condolences to
