SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Gerald L. "Jerry" Viscioni of East 
4Moline, who passed away on February 25, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni was born in Moline to Louie and 
6Elsie (Jannsens) Viscioni on December 25, 1949; he served in 
7the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era; he married 
8Diana G. Howell on August 27, 1971; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni retired from the City of East 
10Moline after 36 years of service; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni enjoyed bowling, rolle bolle, 
12fishing, and working crossword puzzles; he was a fan of Jimmie 
13Johnson NASCAR, the San Francisco 49ers, the Chicago Bears, and 
14the St. Louis Cardinals; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni was preceded in death by his 
16parents and his sister, Barbara; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Jerry Viscioni is survived by his wife of 47 
18years, Diana; his daughter, Heather (Joe) Sullivan; and his 
19siblings, Thomas (Laura) Viscioni, Patricia (Ron) Thompson, 
20and Michelle Viscioni; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Gerald L. "Jerry" Viscioni and extend our sincere condolences 
4to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented tot he family of Jerry Viscioni as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
