SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Sergeant Marcos Leonardo Gudino of Elgin, 
4who passed away on March 25, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Sergeant Gudino was born in Elgin to Frank and 
6Minerva Gudino on January 26, 1988; he graduated from St. 
7Edward High School in 2006; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Sergeant Gudino served in the National Guard as a 
9medic; he had worked at McGrath Auto Sales in St. Charles and 
10was recently offered a position as police officer for the 
11Village of Streamwood; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Sergeant Gudino was a member of St. Laurence 
13Catholic Church in Elgin; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Sergeant Gudino was preceded in death by his 
15grandmother, Josefa Gudino; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Sergeant Gudino is survived by his parents; his 
17siblings, Troy Gudino and Mikel Palm; and his many aunts, 
18uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Sergeant Marcos Leonardo Gudino and extend our sincere 
3condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved 
4him; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Sergeant Gudino as an expression of 
7our deepest sympathy.
