SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Rachel Rina Norris of Brighton, who 
4passed away on March 15, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rachel Norris was born in New Brunswick, Canada to 
6Emile and Evelyn (Caron) Nadeau on April 22, 1941; she married 
7William "Bill" Norris in Lac Baker, New Brunswick, Canada on 
8March 9, 1963; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Rachel Norris retired from Beverly Farm in Godfrey 
10after 30 years of service; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Rachel Norris was preceded in death by her 
12husband, Bill; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Rachel Norris is survived by her children, Dr. 
14William R. "Bob" (Julie) Norris, Pam (Mark) Savoie, John 
15(Rhonda) Norris, and Kathy Gahr; her grandchildren, Joshua, 
16Jeremy, Sean, Travis, and Madison; and her 
17great-grandchildren, Mark and Kelsie; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
20Rachel Rina Norris and extend our sincere condolences to her

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it

3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
