SENATE RESOLUTION

  
  
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Dennis C. Manary of Rock Island, who 
4passed away on March 29, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Dennis Manary was born in Moline to Carroll Manary 
6and Gladys Nichols Manary on July 12, 1948; he married Dora 
7Wakeland in Rock Island on December 26, 1991; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Dennis Manary worked as an assembler at Case IH 
9for 30 years and had served in the Marine Corps; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Dennis Manary was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs; 
11he enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered 
12for his wonderful sense of humor; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Dennis Manary was preceded in death by his 
14parents; his sisters, Betty Moody and Virginia Figg; his 
15brother, Jimmy Cole; his grandsons, Tyler Foster and Thomas 
16Taylor; and his great-granddaughter, Hailey Abraham; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Dennis Manary is survived by his wife, Dora; his 
18children, Dennis (Michelle) Manary, Lacinda (Angela Alcorn) 
19Foster, Jason Manary, Shane (Julie) Manary, Anthony Birdsall, 
20Michael Manary, and Amanda (Alex Hardcastle) Manary; his

1grandchildren, Danielle, Woody, Marlyse, John, Nora, Daniel, 
2Quentin, Alex, Audriauna, Hailey, Josh, Carleigh, Jason, Jade, 
3Mariah, and Juli'Ana; his great-grandson, Jerome; and his 
4brothers, Charles Cole and Milan and Bruce Manary; therefore, 
5be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
7ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
8Dennis C. Manary and extend our sincere condolences to his 
9family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
10further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Dennis Manary as an expression of 
13our deepest sympathy.
