SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Veronica C. Welsh, who passed away on 
4February 25, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh was born in Moline to August and 
6Alice (Timmerman) Caes on May 3, 1942; she was united in 
7marriage to Charles "Chuck" Welsh for 41 years; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh embraced her faith, enjoyed 
9homemaking and loved her family; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh was preceded in death by her 
11husband, Chuck; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Veronica Welsh is survived by her children, 
13Michelle (Steve) Lentz, David (Shannon) Welsh, John (Kathy) 
14Welsh, and Michael (Carolin) Welsh; and her 19 grandchildren; 
15therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
17ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
18Veronica C. Welsh and extend our sincere condolences to her 
19family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
