SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Donald Lee Paulsen Sr. of Beach Park, 
4formerly of Waukegan, who passed away on March 6, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. was born in Lake Forest to 
6Holger and Ada Paulsen on March 24, 1936; he served in the 
7United States Marine Corp from 1954 until 1959; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. retired from Peter Baker & Son 
9Co. in 2000 and from Larsen Marine after nearly 20 years of 
10service; and
  
 
  
11    WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. was preceded in death by his 
12parents; his son, Robert Paulsen; and his sister, Dorothy 
13Wheatley; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Donald Paulsen Sr. is survived by his wife of 49 
15years, Dianne; his sons, Michael (Marcella) Paulsen and Donnie 
16(Suzanne Allie) Paulsen; his ten grandchildren; his two 
17great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
20ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of

2his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
