SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Paul L. Sattler of Waukegan, who passed 
4away on April 7, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Paul Sattler was born in Waukegan to Delbert H. 
6and Mary E. Sattler on January 22, 1934; he graduated from 
7Waukegan High School and married Mary A. Siebert in Waukegan on 
8June 22, 1957; and
  
 
  
9    WHEREAS, Paul Sattler enjoyed power boating, spending 
10weekends on the Chain of Lakes, and yearly trips to Lake of the 
11Ozarks; he was an avid sports fan, especially of  the Chicago 
12Cubs and Bears; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Paul Sattler was the youngest of four brothers, 
14Gerald, Bernard, Donald, and Paul; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Paul Sattler is survived by his wife of 60 years, 
16Mary; his son, Bradley P. Sattler; his grandson, Zachary P. 
17Sattler; his  sisters-in-law, Ann Sattler, Rosemary Sattler, 
18Shirley Robinson, Carol Joan Siebert, April Walton, Dawn 
19Covington, and Brenda Cartwright; his brothers-in-law, Norris 
20Siebert and Robert Siebert; and numerous nephews, nieces, 
21great-nieces, and great-nephews; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Paul L. Sattler, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Paul Sattler as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
