SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Daniel W. "Whitey" Frank of Moline, who 
4passed away on May 4, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Daniel Frank was born in Raymond on April 19, 
61928; he married Georgia Hesseltine Wisely in Preston, 
7Minnesota on June 30, 1960; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Daniel Frank worked at John Deere Plow for 26 
9years; he served in the United States Army and was a veteran of 
10the Korean War; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Daniel Frank enjoyed camping and fishing; he also 
12like to watch baseball and play cards with his sweetheart, 
13Nancy, and her sisters; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Daniel Frank was preceded in death by his wife, 
15Georgia; his son, Donald; his eight brothers; and his two 
16sisters; and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, Daniel Frank is survived by his children, Cynthia 
18(Ed) Hawn and Victor (Stephanie) Frank; his seven 
19grandchildren; his 11 great-grandchildren; and his sweetheart, 
20Nancy Jones; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Daniel W. "Whitey" Frank and extend our sincere condolences to 
4his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Daniel Frank as an expression of our 
8deepest sympathy.
