SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Marcella "Marcy" Kranz of Crystal Lake, 
4who passed away on April 29, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Marcy Kranz was born in Chicago to Stanley and 
6Charlotte (Zdydrowski) Pachucki on July 4, 1923; she married 
7Harry Kranz in June of 1947, and they moved to  Park Ridge from 
81955 until they retired to Crystal Lake in 1990; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Marcy Kranz was a secretary to a dean at Oakton 
10Community College until 1987; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Marcy Kranz and Harry were active in their 
12Catholic parishes and their communities throughout their 
13lives; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Marcy Kranz was preceded in death by her husband 
15of 69 years, Harry; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Marcy Kranz is survived by her children, Richard 
17(Carol) Kranz, Judy (John) Mehan, and Cynthia (Justin) Barr; 
18her grandchildren, Jessica and Jeffrey Mehan, Allison (Abadir 
19Ibrahim) Kranz, Ashley and Elise Kranz, and Christopher, 
20Andrea, and Kimberly Barr; her great-grandchildren, Samantha

1(Kyle) Davis, James, and Chandler; and her 
2great-great-grandchild, Kaden; therefore, be it
  
 
3    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
4ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
5Marcella Kranz, and extend our sincere condolences to her 
6family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
7further
  
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
9presented to  the family of  Marcy Kranz as an expression of our 
10deepest sympathy.
