SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Jerry Lee Lang of Silvis, who passed away 
4on June 3, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Jerry Lang was born in Quincy to Victor and 
6Dorothy (Coulson) Lang on February 24, 1944; he served in the 
7United States Army during the Vietnam Era; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Jerry Lang held various jobs throughout his 
9lifetime; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Jerry Lang was preceded in death by his parents 
11and his two brothers; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Jerry Lang is survived by his daughter, Jenne 
13(Wade) McNaney; his sister, Phyllis (Ray) Tysma; and his three 
14granddaughters, Hollie, Kali, and Addie; therefore, be it
  
 
15    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
16ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
17Jerry Lee Lang and extend our sincere condolences to his 
18family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
