SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Dale A. Kistner of Moline, who passed
4away on July 21, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Dale Kistner was born in Rock Island to Lawrence
6E. and Jacqueline R. (Williams) Kistner on September 14, 1954;
7he served in the U.S. Army as a military policeman at Fort
8Bragg; he married Marianne Schelfaut in Moline on July 1, 1983;
9and
 
10    WHEREAS, Dale Kistner was the owner and operator of General
11Service Painting; he also worked as a fireman at the Rock
12Island Arsenal and as an EMT for the Paul Penny Ambulance
13Service; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Dale Kistner was a member of the Moline Second
15Alarmers; he enjoyed learning about history, listening to
16country music, and singing with the Gospelaires; he was
17interested in electronics, especially CB Radios; he adored his
18dog and spending time with his family, especially his
19grandchildren; and
 
20    WHEREAS, Dale Kistner was preceded in death by his father;

1    WHEREAS, Dale Kistner is survived by his wife, Marianne;
2his children, Garrett (Ashlee Asplund) Kistner, Joseph
3(Elizabeth) Kistner, and Lisa (Dustin) Schubert; his
4grandchildren, Emma and Eli; his mother, Jacqueline; his
5siblings, Jerry (Laura) Kistner, Donald (Connie) Kistner, Judy
6(Doug) Niska, Larry Jr. (Susan) Kistner, and Brent (Lesley)
7Kistner; and several nieces and nephews; therefore, be it
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
10Dale A. Kistner, and extend our sincere condolences to his
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
12further
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
14presented to the family of Dale Kistner as an expression of our
15deepest sympathy.
