SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Raymond C. Geryol of Kenosha, Wisconsin, 
4who passed away on August 18, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Raymond Geryol was born in Waukegan to Stanley and 
6Cecille (Mateja) Geryol on June 12, 1947; he graduated high 
7school in 1965; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Raymond Geryol worked as a carpenter until his 
9retirement; he was a member of Local 250 and built the home his 
10family lived in for over 20 years and many of the furnishings 
11within; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Raymond Geryol loved music and enjoyed attending 
13local festivals and concerts; he also enjoyed golfing and was a 
14fan of the Chicago Bears; he served as the president of the 
15youth football association when his son played; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Raymond Geryol was preceded in death by his 
17parents and his brothers, Thomas (Gloria) and John Geryol; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Raymond Geryol is survived by his son, Chris 
19(Jenn) Geryol; his grandchildren, Dominic, Olivia, Jacob, and 
20Gage; his sister, Mary Geryol; and  numerous nieces, nephews,

1other relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
  
 
2    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
3ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
4Raymond C. Geryol, and extend our sincere condolences to his 
5family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
6further
  
 
7    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
8presented to  the family of  Raymond Geryol as an expression of 
9our deepest sympathy.
