| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Donald H. Schmidt of Bloomingdale, who |
| 4 | | passed away on October 16, 2018; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Donald Schmidt was born on March 22, 1930; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Donald Schmidt was the beloved husband of the late |
| 7 | | Leora (Diel); the loving father of Donna (Donald) Smith, Daniel |
| 8 | | (Donna Jo) Schmidt, and Carol (Ronald) Jenisch; the dearest |
| 9 | | grandfather of Dan (Sarah) Schmidt III, David (Katie) Smith, |
| 10 | | Dustin (Amanda) Smith, Ralene (Matt) Hall, Dawn (Ricky) |
| 11 | | Bosworth, and Ryan and Bradley Jenisch; and the cherished |
| 12 | | great-grandfather of Elizabeth, Gilena, Zooey, Harper, Leo, |
| 13 | | Gionna, and Lucas; therefore, be it

| 14 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL |
| 15 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of |
| 16 | | Donald H. Schmidt and extend our sincere condolences to his |
| 17 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
| 18 | | further

| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to the family of Donald Schmidt as an expression of |
