SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Chester J. "Chet" Wangeline of Coal 
4Valley, who passed away on October 17, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Chet Wangeline was born in Aledo to Chester H. and 
6Elaine (Mulvey) Wangeline on May 21, 1943; he was a veteran of 
7the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam War; 
8he married Janet Anderson in Moline on July 22, 1967; she 
9preceded him in death in 1990; he then married Beth Terstriep 
10in Moline on June 13, 2003; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Chet Wangeline retired from Heartland Health Care 
12Center in Moline in 2011; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Chet Wangeline was preceded in death by his 
14brother, Rick; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Chet Wangeline is survived by his wife, Beth; his 
16daughter, Crystal (Shawn) Mulica; his stepchildren, Lori 
17(Bill) White, James (Jennifer) Terstriep, and William (Erin) 
18Terstriep; his 11 grandchildren; his two great-grandsons; his 
19sisters, Kathy (Ken) Carlson and Patricia (Sam) Masterson; and 
20his brother, Ken (Donna) Wangeline; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Chester J. "Chet" Wangeline and extend our sincere condolences 
4to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be 
5it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the family of Chet Wangeline as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
