SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Gloria J. (Janezich) Knapp of Beach Park, 
4who passed away on October 13, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp was born in Waukegan to Lorraine 
6McCleer and Stanley Janezich on March 18, 1947; she graduated 
7from Waukegan High School in 1966; she was married to Kenneth 
8Knapp Sr. for 53 years; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp worked at K-Mart and retired in 1998; 
10and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp enjoyed yard work and spending time 
12at her second home in upper Michigan; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp was preceded in death by her parents 
14and her grandchild, Courtney Knapp; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Gloria Knapp is survived by her sons, Kenneth 
16Knapp Jr. and Jeffrey (Gina) Knapp; and her grandchildren, 
17Daniel Knapp, Kara Knapp, Carley Knapp, and Colton Knapp; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Gloria J. (Janezich) Knapp and extend our sincere condolences 
3to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Gloria Knapp as an expression of our 
7deepest sympathy.
