SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Kenneth L. "Ken" Larsen of Beach Park, 
4who passed away on October 6, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Ken Larsen was a resident of Waukegan Township, 
6Beach Park for 40 years; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Ken Larsen took pride in working at Peter Baker & 
8Son Co. and retired after 42 years of service; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, During retirement, Ken Larsen enjoyed spending 
10winters in Florida, attending NASCAR races, and fishing; when 
11in Beach Park, he kept himself busy fixing everything for 
12himself, his family, and his neighbors; and
  
 
  
13    WHEREAS, Ken Larsen is survived by his wife of over 40 
14years, Linda; his sons, Doug (Lindsey) Larsen, Derrick Larsen, 
15Rich (Stacy) Gregory, and Steve Gregory; his eight 
16grandchildren; and his great-granddaughter; therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
18ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
19Kenneth L. "Ken" Larsen and extend our sincere condolences to 
20his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
