SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Rosemary D. Juravic, who passed away on 
4May 20, 2018 at the age of 71; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic was born in Chicago to Rudolph 
6and Rose Luif on April 1, 1947; she grew up in Chicago and 
7graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School on the South 
8Side; she later attended business school in the city; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic had an extraordinary sense for 
10business; after working for several prominent interior 
11designers, she became an entrepreneur, operating several 
12Chicagoland businesses with her husband, including a popular 
13health club called Powerhouse Gym in Oak Park, a charming bed 
14and breakfast in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood, and an 
15incredibly successful painting company; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic was passionate in her artistic 
17endeavors, such as interior design; as a talented decorator, 
18she treated every space she owned like a blank canvas for her 
19art; she also enjoyed photography; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic loved dance music, witty puns, 
21her Rottweilers, and spending time with her loving family; and

1    WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic was preceded in death by her 
2parents; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic is survived by her husband, 
4Jerolim "Jerry" Juravic; her children, Carla (Chip) Sineni, 
5Jason (Olivia Avila) Juravic, and Ryan (Jaime) Juravic; and her 
6grandchildren, Evan Sineni, Ezra Sineni, Zoey Sineni, and Wes 
7Juravic; therefore, be it
  
 
8    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
9ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
10Rosemary D. Juravic and extend our sincere condolences to her 
11family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it 
12further
  
 
13    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
14presented to the family of Rosemary Juravic as an expression of 
15our deepest sympathy.
