| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to |
| 3 | | learn of the death of Rosemary D. Juravic, who passed away on |
| 4 | | May 20, 2018 at the age of 71; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic was born in Chicago to Rudolph |
| 6 | | and Rose Luif on April 1, 1947; she grew up in Chicago and |
| 7 | | graduated from Our Lady of Lourdes High School on the South |
| 8 | | Side; she later attended business school in the city; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic had an extraordinary sense for |
| 10 | | business; after working for several prominent interior |
| 11 | | designers, she became an entrepreneur, operating several |
| 12 | | Chicagoland businesses with her husband, including a popular |
| 13 | | health club called Powerhouse Gym in Oak Park, a charming bed |
| 14 | | and breakfast in Chicago's Wrigleyville neighborhood, and an |
| 15 | | incredibly successful painting company; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic was passionate in her artistic |
| 17 | | endeavors, such as interior design; as a talented decorator, |
| 18 | | she treated every space she owned like a blank canvas for her |
| 19 | | art; she also enjoyed photography; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Rosemary Juravic loved dance music, witty puns, |
| 21 | | her Rottweilers, and spending time with her loving family; and
