SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Elliott C. Satinover of Park Ridge, who 
4passed away on September 18, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover was born on August 23, 1932; he 
6served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover was devoted to his family; he 
8was warm, quiet, and had a wonderful sense of humor; he enjoyed 
9gourmet cooking, BBQ, and woodworking; and
  
 
  
10    WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover was preceded in death by his 
11son, Gregg Satinover; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Elliott Satinover is survived by his wife of 62 
13years, Rosemary (Farley); his children, Susan (Mark) Kane and 
14Bob (Bonnie), Dan (Marie), and Tom (Allison) Satinover; his 
15grandchildren, Gregg (Deanna), Matt, and Carly Kane and 
16Jonathan, Meagan, Kelly, Rachel, and Maddie Satinover; his 
17great-grandchildren, Jaxson Satinover and Elle Rosemary Kane; 
18his sister, Mitzi Smetters; and many nieces, nephews, and 
19friends; therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL

1ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
2Elliott C. Satinover and extend our sincere condolences to his 
3family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it

5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to  the family of  Elliott Satinover as an expression 
7of our deepest sympathy.
